The Passing of Jimmy Tuten

Cordele, Georgia— Jimmy Tuten passed away on Friday, June 24.  He lived a life of service to God, having preached for over 40 years.  He was a man who had many interests from photography to printing to woodworking.  Indeed, there was a distinct creative flair about him.  Jimmy was known for his visual presentations which accompanied his sermons.  He and I were friends.  He reached out to me during a very dark time in my life.  It was in his nature to be busy, but Jimmy always had time for people.   He always did.  He and Betty (who died years earlier) welcomed many people into their lives.   I will miss you deeply, Jimmy.  On the behalf of his family, I ask for your prayers.
